The moment behind this image I will never forget and holds one of my favorite ocean memories to date. I took this when I was a baby photographer years ago... seriously, I didn’t even have my own camera yet! I was diving with a friend and she let me use her underwater camera and when we were about to get out of the water a group of four baby eagle rays came right up to us. Not only was the experience of seeing those eagle rays on the dive epic but I got such amazing feelings of pride, excitement, and joy to see the image I was able to capture. This was the first time I remember thinkng that underwater photography was what I was meant to do as my career and have been following that calling ever since. Thank you eagle rays!
